Tella Enjoys Debut with Super Eagles in 2026 World Cup Qualifiers
Nathan Tella expresses his joy following his debut with the Super Eagles. The Bayer Leverkusen winger received his first call-up for Nigeria's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe. In the match against Lesotho's Likuena, the 24-year-old was on the bench.
The former Arsenal player started the match against Zimbabwe but was substituted after halftime.
He shared on his Instagram page, "Good experience away. Happy to make my debut for the Super Eagles."
The Super Eagles are anticipated to be part of Nigeria’s squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
