Playing professional football was never my initial aspiration – Oshoala
Super Falcons' forward, Asisat Oshoala, has shared that her original ambition did not include a career in professional football.
The recipient of the African Women’s Footballer of the Year award five times disclosed that her initial aspiration was to pursue a career in law.
She openly discussed this during a conversation on Karen Carney's "Leaders Of The Pack" podcast.
Oshoala expressed, "Professional football was never something I aimed for. It wasn't part of my original intentions."
Karen inquired, "So what was your aspiration then?"
Oshoala responded, "I actually aspired to become a lawyer, no kidding. That was my dream. I had a keen interest in researching, questioning, and advocating for others. Even when my friends made mistakes, I found myself defending them and offering explanations."
