Former Angola defender, Kali, expresses confidence that the Black Antelopes will outperform the Supe

Ex-Angola defender, Kali, has supported the Black Antelopes in their quest to defeat Nigeria in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash on Friday.

Under the leadership of Pedro Goncalves, the team has had a remarkable campaign in Cote d’Ivoire, securing three wins and a draw in four games.

Having emerged as one of the tournament favorites, the Black Antelopes stand out following the elimination of heavyweight teams such as Senegal, Morocco, and Algeria.

Kali encountered the Super Eagles three times during his playing career, securing a victory in one match, while the other two ended in draws.

Confident in his country's capabilities, the former center-back anticipates Angola's triumph over Nigeria in their upcoming crucial encounter.

Expressing his optimism, Kali stated, “Angola will be thoroughly prepared to face Nigeria. I believe it is the most significant match between the two teams, and we stand a better chance of progressing,” as conveyed to Btolat.

The much-anticipated match is scheduled to take place at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan.
