Confed Cup award excites Acquah

"I feel good knowing it's the Goal of the Week; I think it's a good feeling that motivates the players to work even harder."

Rivers United coach Stanley Eguma praised the player's impact ahead of his team's rescheduled Nigeria Professional Football League match-day eight clash in Port Harcourt against Enugu Rangers.

"Paul has done a lot for himself and the team, but he isn't the only one who can get us goals. "I won't mind if his goals help us win the game against Rangers or any other team," Eguma said.

After completing their final rescheduled NPFL game against Rangers on Wednesday (today), the league champions return to Uyo to face Congolese side Diable Noirs on CAF Confederation Cup matchday five.
