I Offer My Apology for Erroneously Supporting Buhari – Momodu

Dele Momodu, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Publisher of Ovation Magazine, has publicly apologized for supporting former President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 election. This apology came in response to a tweet by a user @meethassan_, who accused Momodu and other influential individuals and organizations of undermining the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

In the tweet, the user suggested that Momodu lost credibility by not speaking truth to power during the Buhari administration, citing the need for him to have been more vocal during the challenges faced by the Jonathan government. Momodu, in his reply, publicly apologized for supporting Buhari, acknowledging it as an error in judgment. He emphasized that no one is above making mistakes and stated that if the apology does not satisfy the user, there is nothing more he can do.

Furthermore, Momodu commented on the silence of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, regarding the certificate controversy surrounding President Bola Tinubu. He suggested that Fani-Kayode's quietness on the matter may be attributed to his inability to defend the forgery allegation made by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Momodu urged President Tinubu to refrain from surrounding himself with sycophants and advised him to be mindful of legal implications.
