Deputy National Women Leader of PDP, Hajara Wanka, Announces Resignation
Hajara Wanka, who held the position of Deputy National Woman Leader in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has officially resigned from her role. She shared this news through a resignation letter addressed to the acting National Chairman of the party, Umar Damagum, on Tuesday.
In her letter, Wanka revealed that she was leaving her responsibilities within the PDP at the national level to take on the role of a commissioner in Bauchi State. This transition was prompted by her nomination from Governor Bala Mohammed. She expressed her gratitude to the National Working Committee led by Damagum for the opportunity to serve, and she also thanked the governor for deeming her capable of serving in his administration.
Wanka emphasized that the knowledge and experience she gained during her years of service within the party would be valuable as she embarks on her new role in Bauchi State.
Debo Ologunagba, the spokesperson for the PDP, previously congratulated Wanka on her appointment and extended best wishes for her new position. He praised Governor Bala Mohammed's accomplishments in transforming Bauchi State and urged Wanka to bring her expertise to her new responsibilities. Ologunagba conveyed these sentiments on behalf of the National Working Committee.
