Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.), the president, expressed outrage in a tweet over the terror assault on the Kuje jail in Abuja on Tuesday night.
Buhari expressed his sorrow for the incident in the post and questioned the country’s intelligence service.
The retired major general tweeted, “Saddened by the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje. I am disappointed with the intelligence system. How can terrorists organize, have weapons, attack a security installation and get away with it? I am expecting a comprehensive report on this shocking incident.”
Ikenna Onyebuchi criticized the Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, saying, “It is really strange that the c-in-c is asking this question on Twitter.
We can track their gbas gbos if the security services respond on Twitter as well, I hope.
“Nigerians truly squandered eight years of their life,” Morris Monye said in alarm. The head of the Nigerian Armed Forces (Land, Air, and Sea) has tweeted us a question on how attacks happen. Eight years squandered in all.
“You should be disappointed with yourself as the C-in-C first,” tweeted Cedric Dakoru. You are the worst president ever, and you have failed our nation.
Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a former aide to the governor of Kano, said, “At this point, it’s safe to say you are the worst commander in chief in the history of this country. It took you years to go from being shocked to be disappointed. This attack on your convoy signifies that we are in serious trouble. Do your job, Mr. President, if you would.
