Nigerian Job Creation Bill 2021

(1) Everyone of Nigeria’s 36 state governments is compelled by law to create a minimum of 10,000 jobs a year. A failure to do so over two successive quarters will trigger automatic impeachment proceedings against the governor

(2) No licences will be issued for the opening of religious faith houses unless such a facility includes the creation of at least 100 sustainable jobs

(3) Each of Nigeria’s 774 local government areas must have a food processing plant that processes all the agricultural produce it grows

(4) Over the next five years, the number kilometres of Nigeria’s tarred roads will be increased from the current 193,200km to match South Africa’s 750,000km

(5) Nigeria’s railway track network will be increased from the current 3,600km to match South Africa’s 22,000 over the next five years

(6) Everyone of Nigeria’s 774 local government areas is compelled by law to run a waste disposal service

(7) Teacher recruitment must form the backbone of state government employment policy. This is to guarantee that class sizes do not exceed 30 in either primary or secondary school

(8) The federal government must create a minimum of 10,000 jobs a year

(9) Any foreign investor who creates at least 1,000 jobs with a start-up will get a two year tax holiday

(10) Every state government must build at least 5,000 housing units a year
