Trump vows to stop migration from ‘Third World Countries’

U.S. President Donald Trump has unveiled a plan to sharply limit immigration, suggesting a permanent suspension on entry from what he refers to as “third world countries” and the elimination of all federal assistance for non-citizens.

The announcement, posted on Truth Social, did not detail which countries would face the proposed restrictions.

The president also highlighted plans to abolish what he called “millions” of admissions permitted under the Biden administration.

He expressed his goal to expel individuals he characterized as “not a net asset to the United States” or “unable to love our Country.”

Additional proposed measures include terminating federal benefits for non-citizens, “denaturalizing” those seen as threatening domestic peace, and deporting foreign nationals viewed as a “public charge, security risk, or incompatible with Western Civilization.”

These remarks followed an incident near the White House on Wednesday, in which two National Guard members were shot, resulting in the death of one from her injuries.

After it was disclosed that the suspect was from Afghanistan, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services director Joseph Edlow announced that the agency would reassess the status of every immigrant with a Green Card from a “country of concern.”

The agency also revealed an immediate and indefinite halt to all immigration applications from Afghan nationals.

This action is the latest in a succession of stringent immigration policies that President Trump has implemented since his return to the White House earlier this year.
