The Special Forces of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) successfully liberated seven kidnap victims in Ka
During a night patrol on Sunday, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Special Forces successfully rescued seven kidnapped individuals, consisting of six females and one male, near Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State. The Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, issued a statement on Monday in Abuja, confirming the rescue.
Upon interrogation, the female victims revealed that they were kidnapped from Paikoro in Niger State, while the lone male victim stated that he was abducted from Rijau in Niger State.
The terrorists, upon encountering the NAF troops, abandoned their captives and fled into a nearby forest. Subsequently, six of the victims were taken to the NAF Medical facility at Birnin Gwari for examination and were later released. The male victim is still under observation at the facility.
Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet emphasized that the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has applauded the troops' efforts and urged them to intensify their operations to ensure the safety of all areas within Kaduna State and its surroundings, free from terrorists, kidnappers, and other criminal elements.
