Outsourcing firm Tranter deploys over 268 engineers across top sectors

Citing more than 22 years of enterprise technology delivery experience and one of the biggest embedded support workforces in the nation's corporate sector, Tranter IT has announced that it has formalised its position as an experienced Business Process Outsourcing delivery partner in Nigeria.

The company said in a statement on Tuesday that it presently employs more than 268 certified support engineers in more than 14 corporate companies in six different industry categories: banking, manufacturing, government, healthcare, oil and gas, and logistics.

The company claims that the deployed engineers offer a variety of services under completely managed service level agreements, such as customer operations, workflow automation, IT operations assistance, human resources support services, and reporting.

According to Tranter IT, its BPO delivery model is different from conventional outsourcing structures since it is based on embedded teams that are backed by frameworks for continuous improvement, real-time performance dashboards, clearly defined escalation mechanisms, and audit-ready reporting.

Each customer engagement is legally linked to quantifiable performance goals encompassing uptime, response time, compliance, and service quality, the firm added.

Melanie Ayoola, Executive Director, Sales and Marketing at Tranter IT, commented on the development, stating that Nigerian companies had progressed past the experimental stages of outsourcing and were now emphasising control and accountability more.

They want to be in charge. With hundreds of engineers currently working in regulated environments and more than 22 years of experience in corporate delivery, we are defining the BPO discourse rather than just joining it.

For the past 20 years, Tranter IT has developed the operational depth, governance frameworks, and infrastructure needed to manage mission-critical operations for government agencies, banks, and manufacturers. We are the benchmark for BPO in Nigeria because of this," Ayoola stated.

Additionally, the company stated that demand for its BPO services has been steadily increasing, especially from manufacturing companies, public sector organisations, and financial services institutions.

It was observed that, in response to growing demands in Nigeria's corporate market regarding service quality, governance standards, and operational dependability, these companies are increasingly looking for BPO partners with demonstrated delivery capabilities rather than theoretical potential.
