Renowned chef Hilda Baci, celebrated for her extraordinary culinary feats, has lost her Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

The official Guinness Book shared this announcement on its X account on Tuesday.

The new record holder, Alan Fisher from Ireland, achieved an incredible culinary marathon by cooking for 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.

This news has triggered diverse responses among Nigerians.

A Twitter user by the name of DanielRegha shared, "Hilda Baci's era has concluded, but her legacy will forever be etched in the annals of history, which is a significant accomplishment.

"Congratulations to the new Guinness World Record holder. It's only a matter of time before another individual endeavors to secure the title.
