Naira appreciates to ₦1,455 per dollar in parallel market

In Tuesday's parallel market, the value of the Naira increased to N1,455 per dollar.

This is an increase over the N1,465 per dollar that was recorded on Monday.

In the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, the naira also gained momentum.

In the official window, it increased to N1,367 per dollar.

According to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria, the naira's indicative exchange rate fell to N1,367 to the US dollar.

From N1,384.5 per dollar on Monday, there was an improvement.

The shift was indicative of the naira's N17.5 increase on the official market.

As a result, the gap between the official market and the parallel market grew.

On Monday, the difference was N80.5 per dollar, but now it is N88.
