Mob Sets Alleged Thief Ablaze for Stealing Building Materials in Delta State Construction Site
It has been reported that the unidentified suspect met a tragic end when he was apprehended while stealing alumaco materials from a new hotel construction site in the Ekiugbo community.
According to a reliable source, the suspect had a history of theft, and on this unfortunate day, he was apprehended by the community vigilantes before the mob set him on fire.
The source revealed, "The individual was set ablaze at Iwhrenene junction after numerous attempts to deter him from his thieving activities. Despite previous instances of being caught stealing, he was often let go. Some individuals even provided him with a tricycle to make an honest living, but he abandoned the tricycle to pursue bricklaying. Subsequently, he left that occupation as well and was apprehended while stealing building materials from a hotel construction site, leading to his fiery demise at the hands of the community mob."
As of the time of reporting, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, as well as the Chairman of the community vigilantes, Mr. Emmanuel Ovwigho, had not responded to calls or messages for comment.
