Minister Connected to Tinubu Reportedly Poisoned, Struggling for Survival

Lola Ade-John, the Minister of Tourism, reportedly finds herself in a hospital in Abuja, having allegedly fallen victim to acute poisoning from unknown sources.

As per the Peoples Gazette, concerns loom over the diminishing time available to save her life, with family members expressing anxiety. The publication states that she was urgently taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, as soon as symptoms of poisoning became apparent.

Family insiders revealed that Lola had spent four days at the facility by Friday morning. Although the specific substance ingested remains unclear, sources mentioned that she requires a breathing aid.

A reported dispute has arisen between the Minister's family and the Ministry regarding her treatment location. Ngozi Onwudike, the permanent secretary of the Ministry, reportedly insisted on keeping her at the FMC, citing its public nature and cost-effectiveness for the government. However, the family resisted this stance. Financial constraints reportedly prevented them from moving her to a private hospital, despite their desire to do so. Attempts to contact the permanent secretary on Friday morning were unsuccessful.

It's worth noting that Lola Ade-John had recently been appointed and sworn in as Minister by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
