Jigawa Government Creates Three New Agencies
The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved the creation of three new agencies.
Sagir Musa Ahmad, Commissioner for Information, Youth Support, and Culture, announced this to the press.
He noted that the decision was made during a state executive council meeting chaired by Governor Umar Namadi.
Ahmad explained that the council's resolution follows the submission of draft bills on new agencies, which will be presented to the State House Assembly for approval.
The newly proposed agencies, for which draft bills have been created, include the Jigawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (JISITDEA) and the Jigawa State Residents Identity Management Agency (JISRIMA).
Additional agencies include the Jigawa State Tsangaya Education Board (JISSEB) and the Jigawa State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board.
