FG confirms US airstrikes on terrorists, cites intelligence cooperation
Nigeria and the US have confirmed ongoing security and intelligence cooperation, leading to precision airstrikes on terrorist targets in Nigeria's North West. The airstrikes follow a bomb attack on a mosque in Maiduguri, Borno State, killing five people and injuring dozens, suspected to be a suicide bombing.
