Casualties in Ibadan explosion include an individual who recently returned from the UK

One of the casualties in Tuesday's explosion in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, is reported to be a man who had recently returned from the United Kingdom (UK). According to a video circulating on social media, Ayode Jajaye, an eyewitness, mentioned that the UK returnee was the son of one of the landlords in the estate where the explosion occurred on Tuesday night.

Jajaye stated, "Observe the individual who recently passed away; he arrived from the UK just about a week ago. He is the son of one of the landlords in this estate."

"My recommendation is for the government to conduct an investigation into this situation. The number of casualties is alarmingly high, and the extent of damages is undeniable. We cannot simply turn a blind eye to the numerous collateral damages that have occurred."
