Breaking News: Robbers Target Three Communities in Ibadan
On Tuesday morning, armed bandits infiltrated three neighborhoods within Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State. These criminals reportedly looted cash, mobile phones, jewelry, and various valuables. The impacted communities comprise Alaja, Seriki, and Ogogo, all situated along the new Ibadan/Oyo Expressway within the Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.
Raji Kazeem, a community leader, verified the incident to our correspondent, stating, "Indeed, it's true. The armed robbers struck in the middle of the night, targeting several residences. That's why you observed property owners engaged in discussions within various groups."
At the time of reporting, attempts to contact the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, proved fruitless, as he neither answered calls nor replied to messages sent to his mobile number.
