Biden arrives in Georgia for debate with Trump

US President Joe Biden landed in Georgia on Thursday for his first debate of the 2024 election season against his predecessor Donald Trump, a high-stakes event for both contenders.

Air Force One landed at a military station about an hour's drive from Atlanta, where the debate will begin at CNN's headquarters at 9:00 p.m. (0100 GMT on Friday).
