Adeleke marks 100 days in office with free medical outreach
To commemorate his 100th day in office, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke flagged off a 'Imole free medical and surgical outreach' organized by the University of Osun Teaching Hospital on Wednesday.
Speaking at the outreach ceremony in Iwo, Adeleke reaffirmed his administration's commitment to quality healthcare delivery in the state.
Adeleke, who expressed his willingness to develop the state and make it better than he found it, also promised that his administration would pay special attention to developing all healthcare centers in the state in order to promote healthy living.
"The current administration in the state will focus on the welfare of the masses, particularly health care delivery, road rehabilitation and construction, and infrastructural development," he stated.
He went on to say that the first phase of the exercise would benefit 18,000 people spread across the state's nine federal constituencies.
The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Adewale Akanbi, praised Adeleke for the initiative, saying it would save many less fortunate people from death.
