Hadjia Buhari relocates to Dubai amid claims that Aso Rock is not safe for her family

December 16th, 2020 African News, News, Nigerian, Politics comments

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari’s wife Aisha has reportedly abandoned the Aso Rock presidential villa and fled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates amid security concerns after claiming that she does not feel safe in Abuja.

Over the last few tears, Hadjia Aisha Buhari has been very vocal about the activities of the cabal close to her husband. She has repeatedly clashed with members of his kitchen cabinet over their constant attempts to run the government in a closet fashion, keeping ministers and party officials in the dark.

Hadjia Buhari has on at least three occasions publicly called for the government to be taken back from this cabal and handed over to the cabinet. It now appears that she fears they will come after her as Hadjia Buhari has not returned to the country since September after the wedding of her daughter, Hanan.

She has spent three months in Dubai and is not in a hurry to return, stating that the Presidential Villa was not secure for her family. Hadjia Buhari’s concern is said to have been triggered by a shooting incident which occurred in June.

Back then, a crisis ensued after her security details removed President Buhari’s personal assistant, Sabiu Yusuf over Covid-19 scares. There have been frequently clashes between her own security detail and those at the villa.
