Portable fears EFCC arrest over Naira abuse

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has made allegations suggesting that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is intending to apprehend him for purported Naira misconduct.

While currently overseas, Portable asserts that EFCC operatives plan to detain him upon his return to Nigeria.

The 'Zazu' artist, who recently appealed to EFCC to pardon him if there is any substantiated evidence of Naira misuse, claims he is now under scrutiny following a request by self-proclaimed social media activist VeryDarkMan for the agency to pursue him over alleged Naira abuse.

During a recent Instagram live session with his fans, Portable expressed his apprehension, stating, "I am feeling uneasy. The EFCC is plotting my arrest upon my return to Nigeria because VeryDarkMan implicated me."

Directing his comments towards VeryDarkMan, he added, "VeryDarkMan, or should I say VeryDarkBrain, you chatter excessively. Save your words for those with meaningful contributions. Are you a law enforcement official? Matters of public concern are best left to those within the law enforcement agencies. It was Nigerians who pleaded for your release when you were apprehended. Upon your release, you appeared emaciated; your once prominent muscles vanished."

Continuing his rebuke, he remarked, "And now you boast. Reserve your commentary for those with sound judgment. You meddle in discussions about women, politics, and everything in between. What exactly is your occupation? Just mere talk."
