Omah Lay expressed that Davido might disliked him
Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, also known as Omah Lay, has revealed a surprising assumption he once held about his fellow artist, Davido. He confessed to thinking that Davido might have harbored animosity towards him.
It's worth noting that Davido recently expressed his admiration for Omah Lay's music during a conversation with Kai Cenat, the American content creator, who was visiting Nigeria.
As they left the club for Obi's House, Davido played Omah Lay's song "Reason" to entertain Cenat. The 'Unavailable' artist also highlighted the song to Cenat, stating, "Listen to this. This is Omah Lay."
Impressed, Cenat complimented the 'Godly' singer, admitting, "I am scared of you bro."
Reflecting on the interaction, Omah Lay shared on X that he had previously believed Davido didn't like him.
"I've always believed OBO despised me!" he exclaimed.
Omah Lay commenced his music journey at the age of fifteen.
He gained widespread recognition in 2020 after the success of his hit singles, 'You' and 'Bad Influence'.
Omah Lay has been steadily solidifying his position in the Nigerian music industry, known for his unique musical approach.
