Davido addresses the accusations of debt involving Dammy Krane

Award-winning music artist, Davido, has addressed the allegations made by his colleague, Oyindamola Emmanuel, better known as Dammy Krane, regarding unpaid debts. He clarified that he had not been compensated for the three verses he provided for Dammy Krane's song nine years ago.

On Tuesday, Dammy Krane had asserted that Davido owed him for their joint work on the song "Pere" and had appealed to the musician to settle the debt, citing his daughter's upcoming school fees as the reason.

In response to these claims on Friday, Davido posted on X, emphasizing that he had never received payment for the three verses he contributed to Dammy Krane's song nine years ago.

Davido also reminisced about the occasions when he offered Dammy Krane shelter and support in Atlanta during a period when Dammy Krane was without a home.

Davido stated, "I never received compensation for that, including the three verses I freely contributed to boost your stagnant career. Oh, and let's not forget about my royalties. These days we charge about $150,000 per verse. Additionally, there's the matter of house rent and food during your stay in my Atlanta home when you were in a tough spot."
