Kadiri took to social media to share her ordeal, narrating her unsuccessful attempts to receive products from a body shaper and waist trainer manufacturer. Expressing frustration at falling victim to scammers and the challenges of trust in today's world, she implored the company to either refund her money or deliver the merchandise. She shared her concerns with fans, hoping they could help in retrieving her money.

Additionally, popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Cuppy, faced an unfortunate incident of robbery in London. Via the microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter), she informed her millions of followers that her iPhone 14 Pro Max was snatched from her hands on the streets of Soho. Expressing distress over the incident, Cuppy jokingly suggested that, like some of her peers in Nigeria, her fans could buy her an iPhone 15 Pro Max. This incident occurred shortly after her father, Femi Otedola, generously gifted 1 million naira each to 750 students of Augustine University in Lagos.
