Prestige Assurance experiences a 34% growth in premiums

Prestige Assurance Plc has achieved a 34% increase in Gross Premium Written (GPW), reaching N12.4 billion for the 2022 fiscal year, up from the N9.27 billion reported in 2021.

Mrs. Funmi Oyetunji, the company's Chairperson, revealed this information to shareholders during the annual general meeting (AGM) held in Lagos. She emphasized that the company showcased its resilience by achieving top-line growth despite the challenging macroeconomic conditions.

She emphasized, "Shareholders can rest assured that our primary focus continues to be on achieving both top-line growth and margin advancement, given their significance in driving value creation."

Reaffirming her confidence in the company's capacity to deliver exceptional returns to shareholders, the Chairperson affirmed, "We have strategically positioned ourselves to respond effectively to potential scenarios in 2023 and are determined to maintain our progress in our pursuit of becoming one of the foremost insurance companies in the nation. Our dedicated and motivated staff members remain instrumental, and we remain committed to offering competitive remuneration to attract the necessary talent required for executing our strategic goals."

Adding to this discussion, the Managing Director/CEO of the company, Mr. Rajesh Kamble, asserted that despite the intricate business landscape, their dedication to swiftly generating value for shareholders remains unwavering.
