Governor Abiodun proudly announces the completion of over 600 kilometers of road construction in Ogu
Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State proudly announced that his administration has completed the construction of over 600 kilometers of roads since assuming office. These road projects, he emphasized, were a fulfillment of promises made during his campaign.
Speaking at the commissioning of a newly constructed hospital road in Ogijo, Sagamu local government area, Governor Abiodun highlighted that the event marked the beginning of a series of project commissions to commemorate the first year of his second term in office. He assured that his administration would continue to deliver on its promises and announced plans to commission more roads in Iperu and Ilaro during the week.
Governor Abiodun emphasized the significance of Ogijo as an industrial hub in the state, mentioning the successful resolution of electricity challenges in the community through the provision of transformers and other electrical accessories.
He called on community leaders and stakeholders to collaborate in prioritizing projects for immediate execution. Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Ade Akinsanya, reiterated the government's commitment to infrastructure development across the state, citing the commissioning of the Hospital Road as evidence.
Representing the Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, Ologijo of Ogijoland, Oba Kezeem Gbadamosi, expressed gratitude for the well-constructed road and drainage system while urging attention to other deteriorating roads in the area.
