Police arrested two individuals for robbing a school after drugging the security guard in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command apprehended two men accused of drugging a school's security guard and looting property worth millions of Naira. SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the State Police Public Relations Officer, revealed this information to the press on Wednesday in Ikeja. He mentioned that the suspects purchased sedatives near the school on December 29, 2023.
Hundeyin explained that the suspects approached the school, engaging the security guard in seemingly harmless conversations. Subsequently, they purchased food from a nearby restaurant, laced it with drugs, and gave it to the security guard.
"Subsequently, they covertly gained access to the school's administrative office, taking the ignition key to the school's bus along with a 65-inch television set and six inverter batteries. After fueling the bus with diesel from the parking lot, they drove away with the vehicle, also taking the security man's iPhone 11 cell phone," he detailed.
